The rooms at Magic Hostel were cozy and inviting, with a shared bathroom that was always clean and well-stocked. The hairdryer provided saved me from frizzy hair days, and the bed linen felt fresh and comfy. I loved feeling pampered in such a budget-friendly place!
Personally, I wasn't a fan of the shared bathroom. But hey, that's just me!

The room at Magic Hostel was cozy and comfortable, with all the bare essentials you need for a backpacking adventure. The shared bathroom was clean and well-maintained, and the hairdryer provided was a lifesaver for my wet hair after a day at the beach. The bed linen was fresh and smelled lovely, making for a good night's sleep.
The shared bathroom. It's subjective, but I personally prefer having a private one.

I had a fantastic stay at a budget-friendly hostel in Phi Phi Don. Magic is a real gem, offering great value for money. the staff went above and beyond, quickly accommodating our request for an extra bed and even moving our luggage while we were out. They allowed us a late checkout, which was a nice bonus. the rooms were clean and comfortable, with spacious wetrooms and provided toiletries. the hostel also had convenient amenities like lockers, hairdryers, and effective air conditioning. I especially appreciated the curtains on the beds, ensuring privacy and a good night's sleep. the location was perfect, away from the bustling crowds but still within a 5-minute walk to the center. Despite being close to everything, we didn't experience any noise issues.
I highly recommend Magic for its convenience and cozy atmosphere. Cons: Nothing to dislike.

This hostel was an absolute gem! It was incredibly convenient being close to the main hub of the island, yet still peaceful at night. The staff were the friendliest I've ever encountered, providing useful tips and going above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. The location was perfect for exploring the beautiful viewpoints and there was even a 7/11 nearby. The added perks of having a kettle for noodle pots and free tea/coffee made me feel right at home. The beds were cozy with curtains, charging points, and lights for privacy and convenience. The bathrooms were always clean and we were provided with fresh towels daily. But the icing on the cake was the heart of the hostel, a guy named Bank, who was incredibly kind and hilarious, truly adding to the memorable experience. This hostel had everything I needed, from cleanliness to a warm atmosphere, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting this incredible island.

The location was ideal, being close to everything but still quiet enough to get a good night's sleep.
The beds were uncomfortably hard and there was no space for backpacks or lockers. the hostel lacked a nice outside area to relax and chill.

Sunset View: One evening, as I hiked up to the viewpoint near the hostel, I was blown away by the breathtaking sunset. It painted the sky in a vibrant palette of oranges and pinks, creating a mesmerizing spectacle that made me feel like I was witnessing a natural work of art.
Lost Item: Unfortunately, someone accidentally took my Birkenstock sandals while I was relaxing in the shared lounge. Despite the presence of security cameras, the memory was full and they couldn't review the footage.

I recently stayed at this small hostel in Phi Phi and had a fantastic experience. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful, always going above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The dorm setup allowed me to meet other travelers easily, and the beds were super comfortable, with personal plugs, lamps, and privacy curtains. The hostel was kept very clean, and they even provided a bottle of water upon check-in. It was also great to have the toilet conveniently close to the bed when I was feeling sick. The location was not too close to the busy part, so noise was never a problem. great value for money with excellent facilities.
I would highly recommend this hotel.

We had a great stay at the hostel. the guy running the place, Dobby, was really nice and although his English is improving, he made us feel welcome. the hostel is small but convenient, with bunk beds and two bathrooms. It's clean and tidy, and Dobby cleans regularly, so it never stays dirty for long. the location is perfect, close to everything but without any noise. We also appreciated the free water upon entry and the amenities like lockers, hairdryers, and great air conditioning.
Absolutely nothing to say about dislikes. 😊.
